60 Minute Intermediate English Lesson

In this Intermediate English Lesson, riders will build upon the foundation of their prior experience in English or Western riding. This class will focus on refining the rider's ability to control their horse at a walk and trot, as well as enhancing their understanding of posting and other advanced techniques. 

From the basics of leg positioning to advanced techniques such as diagonals, leg yields, and circle work, riders will gain the skills and knowledge needed to take their riding to the next level. 

With a maximum of 2 riders per lesson, riders will receive individualized attention and coaching from experienced instructors. So if you're ready to step up your riding game, come join us for an exciting and challenging Intermediate English Lesson!

Pre-Requisite for All English Riders :

• Must successfully pass an evaluation before being admitted into an English Lesson at any Chaparral location.

• Prior Experience required in either English or Western

• Has to be able to control their horse at a Walk and a Trot 
• Has an understanding of Posting 

Age Requirement: 

8+ years old

Safety:

Helmets are required (and provided) for anyone under 18 years of age and are optional/recommended for those 18 years and older. 

Attire:

Long pants and closed-toe shoes are required. We recommend long socks and boots with no more than a ½ inch heal. Tennis shoes are okay. 

* You will not be allowed to ride if you arrive in shorts or open-toed shoes.  Make sure that if you wear your hair up, the hairstyle will not interfere with the helmet fitting properly. *
